The 3800 Axial Long Travel Extensometer precisely measures strain of rubber, elastomer, semi-rigid plastics, film and cellular products. It is a more accurate measurement than the typical reading of the head position of the test system. In industry standard tests, an extensometer is commonly required where sample strain is used to referee product or material quality. Our unit is designed to withstand sample rupture and failure without damage and with minimal impact on test productivity. Standard units are available up to 20 inch travel. |
