TestResources grips may be used with Instron® E/M systems, MTS® test machines, and virtually any other mechanical test machine – using adapters available from TestResources. Eccentric roller grips feature a self-tightening clamp action ideal for flat samples of thin sheets, films, flexible plastics and elastomers that experience a large reduction in cross-section area under load. They provide positive non-slip gripping action and are quick and simple to use. The single lever, fast action makes sample insertion easy and the spring pressures of the roller bracket giving a positive non-slip action gripping force, sufficient to hold the material until a load is applied. The roller while under test prevents the specimen from creeping out of the grip as the load increases. |
