  Modular Approach

Our test systems are configured to customer requirements by first selecting a controller that meets the test functional requirements. The second step is to select an actuator and load frame to satisfy maximum load, speed and space needs. The final step is select a load cell and test accessories matched to your immediate needs.

Stand-alone Controls -- for Standard Static Tests

Stand-alone testers are ideal for repetitive single or dual segment tests such as ASTM or ISO tensile and compression tests where continuous speed or constant load rate are involved. The Q Controller can even perform sawtooth load or position limit cyclic tests. Stand-alone testers are also great for users having no prior testing experience. Test data is displayed in real time, captured and exported to a PC programs such as Microsoft Excel. Standalone Systems are easy-to-learn and affordable compared to more versatile PC Controlled machines.

P Series * Entry Level * Single Segment Controller * Most Affordable

The P Series is used for strength tests and destructive testing where the load or extension rate are controlled precisely while the test progresses - until failure or load dropoff is sensed. Load & Displacement data is captured, peak load and other analyses performed including average load, energy, and elongation at break. Data are captured, stored and optionally exported to Excel. As many as 10 plots can be presented showing load vs displacement. Common test applications include any strength test -- wire, cable, lugs, peel or seal strength, plastic dogbone tests or metals testing. Load and position accuracy & resolution specifications are outstanding.

P CONFIGUATIONS: Select single or dual column load frame, choose actuator rating, select load cell and accessories. Currently P systems are available to 1400 lb load rating.

Q Series * Universal * Two Segment Controller * Cyclic

Q controllers offer several features beyond the P and are needed for tests involving the need for a second segment of control - such as a constant load rate to a position and hold, such as a stress relaxation or a creep test. Or where data is gathered on the downstroke such as a bend test, or a loop tack test. Six test setups can be set up and stored. And several other analyses are included. In addition, we offer custom development services for Q controllers. Q controllers are needed for stress relaxation

Q CONFIGUATIONS: Select single or dual column load frame, choose actuator rating, software options, and select load cell and accessories. Currently Q systems available to 7500 lb max load.

M Series * Integrated Test Machines * Multi Segment Control Software Option

M Series Controllers and Software Products are available as a single or dual column load frame with ratings from 650 lb (3 kN) up to 11250 lb (50 kN) force capacity. They offer an alternative solution for both standalone and PC based control. M Software performs real time data plotting and includes test analysis software modules to perform industry standard tests. Applications - Education, Teaching, orthopedic devices, production tests, Foam, Wire, Welds, industrial components, sport products, all materials and products.

M MACHINE SELECTIONS: Select single or dual column load frame, choose actuator rating, software options, and select load cell and accessories. Currently M Machines available to 11,250 lb max load.
