Mechanical Engineering - Testing Introduction
- Model 1000ME
Used by customers such as Georgia Tech, Tennessee Tech,
University of Vermont and University of Akron ... for
teaching mechanical engineering and materials properties.
Performs tension, compression and flexural tests on aluminum,
polymers, wood materials and structures at loads to 1125
pounds (5 kN). Performs constant rate of extension and
constant load tests.
An integrated package consists of M Software to capture,
plot and analyze stress-strain properties such as yield
strength and modulus. Strain measurement is possible with
optional extensometer -- Test data can be exported to
MS Excel for further analysis.
